Visit the desert nomads who live in tents and listen to Gnaua music played by locals at one of the many Camuria villages or African villages. Before heading to Midelt, get up early to see the dawn over the sand dunes. Views of the High and Middle Atlas Mountains may be seen during this excursion.
The Berber settlement of Azrou, located in the heart of Morocco’s biggest and most renowned cedar forest, is well worth a visit on route to Fez. Leaving the woods behind, the trip then proceeds to Fez through Ifrane, sometimes called the “Switzerland of Morocco.”

Visit the famed Bab Mansour Gate, Saharij Suani Bassan, and Mullai Ismail’s Mausoleum at the first stop of your tour, Meknes, one of Morocco’s royal towns and the capital of Morocco’s Ismailis. Keep on to the 25 BC Roman city of Volubilis. Some of the ancient mosaics here are still in pristine condition. Continue on your way to Chefchaouen, Morocco, passing close to the Rif Mountains.
